Vicky Nguyen

Vicky Nguyen (b. 1977) was born in Saigon, Vietnam. Her parents came to the United States as boat people when she was two years old. She grew up in Eugene, Oregon, Reno, San Jose and Santa Rosa, California, and graduated with a major in communications from the University San Francisco. She began her career in Florida and was known as the “Biggest Little Reporter in the World” in Reno. Nguyen returned to the Bay Area in 2007, and is now part of the NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit.
