Paige McPherson
Taekwondo
Paige Arielle McPherson (b. 1990) is of Filipino and African descent. She was adopted when she was only four days old and grew up in Sturgis, South Dakota. She began as a dancer but turned to taekwondo after watching her brother in the sport. Nicknamed "McFierce," McPherson competed at the 2012 London Summer Olympics and won the bronze medal. She will be competing in her second Olympic games at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games.
