Connie Chung Povich

Connie Chung Povich (b. 1946) is a television journalist, anchor and reporter. She was born and raised in Washington, DC, and received her degree in journalism at University of Maryland, College Park. In 1993, she became the first Asian American and second woman to co-anchor a major network national news broadcast, which was for CBS Evening News. She has been an anchor and reporter for networks like NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN and MSNBC.
