The Congressional Gold Medal
The Congressional Gold Medal is the highest form of national appreciation and honor awarded for distinguished contributions and achievemetns. The edal was bestowed collectively to war veterans of Japanese, Filipino, and Chinese descent in 2010, 2016, and 2018 respectively. Each group served in the three major theaters of war during World War II - Europe, North Africa, and the Pacific. The 2022 APIA Wall of Fame contains six famous and not-so-famous veterans representing each group. It is dedicated to those who served in World War II and an attempt to document their achievements for those who come after them. We thank them for their service.
