Clarissa Chun
Wrestler
Clarissa Chun (b. 1981) was born in Honolulu to a Chinese American father and a Japanese American mother. She graduated from the University of Colorado with a communications degree. Chun won five junior national championships in judo before switching to wrestling. She became the first wrestler from Hawai'i to quality for the US Olympic Team in 2008, and she won the bronze medal in women's freestyle wrestling at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
