Cindy Chang
Sports Medicine Physician
Cindy Chang was the chief medical officer for Team USA of the 2012 London Olympics. She was also head team physician for UC Berkeley’s 27 athletic teams from 1995 to 2008. For her contributions to the science of sports medicine, she became the first woman in 2013 to win the Dr. Ernst Joki Sports Medicine Award, one of sports medicine’s highest honors.
