Chong-Moon Lee has played many roles for different organizations. He is a Korean American entrepreneur and philanthropist. Chong-Moon fled South Korea in 1970 to come to the United States. He believes that "successful immigrants have a duty to contribute to the society that has helped them achieve personal success." In 1982, Chong-Moon founded Diamond Multimedia System that was ranked number one in market share. After stepping down from Diamond Multimedia, he founded another company called AmBex Venture Partners. He also served on the Board of Trustees at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington DC. Chong-Moon donated $15 million to the Asian Art Museum, where he is a trustee and a commissioner.
