Betty Ann Ong
Flight Attendant
Betty Ann Ong (1956-2001) was born in San Francisco. She was an American Airlines flight attendant on board Flight 11 when it flew into the North Tower of New York City’s World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. She managed to phone and alert authorities that the plane was hijacked and described what was happening on board the plane.
