Asian American Political Alliance (AAPA)
1968-69
AAPA was first established at UC Berkeley followed by an AAPA branch at SF State. It was formed for the purposes of redefining the Asian American role, historically and contemporarily, in this country; of exposing and destroying the glaring myths concerning "Orientals;" and working to eliminate the insidious racism which permeates all levels of this society.
